CTXM, a European-based software developer for online games, has recently added three iPhone-based casino games (Blackjack, Roulette, and Casino Hold ‘Em) to its already existing mobile browser-based games lineup, which includes Video Slots. These new CTXM games are accessible through the iPhone’s Safari browser.
According to Udy Yosha, CEO of CTXM, “The iPhone is the first mobile platform which shows real scalable commerce. We see the conventional internet range merging with mobile gaming through platforms such as the iPhone and believe there is a great potential for gaming in this area.”
Currently, CTXM has created 10 game applications for the iPhone, which are available through Apple’s App Store. Within CTXM’s new Safari-based casino games, players are able to play both for real money as well as for gaming account management.

I played a bit more of Farmville today… and it’s actually not as bad as I had originally thought. The beginning’s just a bit boring because you only have a six plots of land and can only buy and do a handful of things.

I got to level five today by getting gold coins when I helped out on my friend’s farms — scaring away some crows, pulling some weeds, etc. — and getting experience points when I completed tasks and earned ribbons — befriending some neighbors, earning a certain number of gold coins, etc. Now I have some more freedom in managing my own farm, as I have more resources, yay!
Anyhoo, check out the expanded review if you’re interested in hearing more about my adventures in the wildly popular Facebook browser-based game Farmville.
